This was the first of a series of exhibitions for various art associations in New Mexico: April-May, Rio Grand Artists Association; June, Mel Johnson SOLO of paintings; July-August, 5 Weavers from the Nat'l Convergence Convention; September, New Nexico Veteran's Art Association; Oct., photographers selected in Abq Arts photo contest; Nov.,Quilters Group Show.

The Santa Fe Flute Choir

Johnsons of Madrid Galleries of Fine
and Fiber Art in their performance gallery

       The Santa Fe Flute Choir, under the direction of flutist Carol Redman, includes 18 flutists who (in real life) are artists, teachers, physical therapists, accountants, lawyers and engineers.
      This season’s flute choir concert will include classical music by Mozart, Rachmaninoff and Sibelius, music from Mexico and India, a children’s song, some medieval music, and music inspired by the landscape of the Southwest.
      This casual concert will be fun and toe tapping, emotionally moving and downright beautiful!
