note about recent gallery exhibitions:
In Feb. and March, 2010, the members of the East Mountain Art Association exhibited at the Johnsons. This was the first of a series of exhibitions for various art associations in New Mexico: April-May, Rio Grand Artists Association; June, Mel Johnson SOLO of paintings; July-August, 5 Weavers from the Nat'l Convergence Convention; September, New Nexico Veteran's Art Association; Oct., photographers selected in Abq Arts photo contest; Nov.,Quilters Group Show.
In 2011: May: Encaustic Art Institute/Cerrillos, June: Rio Grande Art Association; July: Plein Air Painters of New Mexico; August: Pastel Society of New Mexico; Sept.-Oct., landscape focus group;...............
(we were 38 when we came to Madrid and our gallery is 38 year's old. Are we preparing the gallery to become the N. NEW MEXICO ART CENTER??? any advise?)
