New Mexico 430 presents:
On Friday, June 22 at 5:30 p.m., New Mexico’s newest period instrument ensemble, New Mexico 430, will give their premiere performance as part of First Presbyterian Church Santa Fe’s TGIF series. Join them for a Summer Serenade:
light chamber music of the classical and early romantic periods for oboe and strings
New Mexico 430 is New Mexico’s only chamber ensemble dedicated to classical music performed on period instruments.
Formed by MaryAnn Shore, oboe and English horn, Stephen Redfield, violin, Gail Robertson, viola and Katie Reitman, cello,
this new ensemble is exploring the rich repertoire written for oboe and strings. This concert will feature a couple of the greats – Mozart and Schubert – as well as several lesser known names, such as Drustchesky and Vanhal. First Presbyterian Church is located at 208 Grant Avenue, Santa Fe. For more information on the TGIF series, http://fpcsantafe.org/index.php/music/concerts-a-recitals
This concert will be repeated on SATURDAY at 1:00 p.m.
